Hawk Laboratories offers a selection of color dispersions that are compatible with any of Hawk’s topcoat systems. These color dispersions, also known as colorants, are made with light fast pigments of the finest grind to ensure uniform color matches.
Hawk employs a much finer grind and our pigments are higher in quality because they do not rely on emulsifying agents to prevent the kick-out or floating of color that is common with lower grade dispersions. These pigments are suspended in a free-acrylic resin that acts as a cross-linker. The cross-link ability assures proper catalysis with topcoats that contain even high pigment loads without affecting the resin to catalyst mix ratio. |
